E | Making a Living As an Intercultural Trainer or Consultant
It’s not easy, but you can turn your knowledge of theory and your training experience into making a living as an intercultural trainer. In this workshop, participants will review the appropriate competencies and goals; consider the pros and cons of independent, employee, or entrepreneur status; and refine their business plans.
Faculty: Martin Bennett
Martin Bennett, a principal in Bennett Consulting, consults on the diversity implications of nationality, ethnicity, and spirituality in organizations. Founder of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Relations, co-founder of Bennett Associates, a former vice president in Cendant Intercultural, and a clergyman, Marty has over thirty years’ experience in the application of intercultural theory, training, consulting, and business and organization development for companies such as Nokia, Motorola, P&G, General Motors, and Capital One. He authored Hong Kong Update and co-authored Global Diversity Desk Reference: Managing an International Workforce. He is currently writing Religion and Spirituality: The Unspoken Dimensions of Workplace Diversity.
